Direct offload simulation in Sao Paulo – BW Offshore

As a part of BW Offshore’s study  to perform direct offloading of crude oil from FPSO Berge Helene at the Maromba oil field offshore Brazil, maneuvering exercises of a Conventional Trading Tanker (CTT) approaching, offloading and departing the FPSO was carried out at Oceanica simulator center in Sao Paulo.

Avior Group has been a long time provider of tow masters to BW Offshore for installation and re-location of their FPSO’s. For the Maromba direct offloading study, BW Offshore hired tow master from Avior to assist during the simulation and the following HAZID in Sao Paulo.
